The bird in the photo appears to be a young one. He’s obviously looking at his HH guide (just out of the shot) who is urging him to use a reach cast, short but accurate, allow an 18″ drift, then repeat with minimal false casting and to cast at the fish. Ha. He’s one of only a few who’s success rate won’t increase by following your advise on Monday, mark. Great blog as always!
