Alison with this nice rainbow from the river yesterday.
She and her beau Matt were supposed to be steel heading but thought that the conditions were not right so they headed out to the Mo.
Good choice. Matt did get in some swinging and recognized the fantastic opportunities for the trout spey angler here fishing the Mo.
Alison enjoyed the action and was able to haul in several Missouri River ‘bows and browns.
Not too terribly cold although the north wind did blow for a bit. Properly prepared we survived the day with hand warmers and hot chicken broth!

No hatchery fish here. That is a fall spawning Arlee Rainbow.
