We typically get it in mid-September, but with this seasons warmer than normal temperatures – especially the nighttime lows – we have only had a few days of this.
It burns off pretty quick, but for some reason it seems to signal (trigger?) great fall fishing. Probably a sign that drastically cooling nighttime temperatures have the fish thinking “I’m gonna kill a streamer today”.
