Missouri River Montana Mid-September Fishing Report
Water temps falling and currently 61F. Looks like it will be at or below this temps as we move into the remainder fo the month and on to October into winter. She has peaked and we are headed downwards towards the BWO and October Caddis period.
Water flows are hovering around 4K.

Holter Dam and Wolf Creek are the two most popular put in ramps this past week. Some anglers fishing downstream as well. Canyon style. Netter reports from the middle of the river daily. Stellar? Nymphs? Yes. Big Dries? Hopper in tan, pink, purple, yellow. Mostly tan though. Caddis dries too. On the lower and mid river.Translucent Emerger Translucent Pupa, X Caddis. And those who like to roll the dice are tossing the October Caddis dry. For Big Mo River Brown Trout!
