Monday Missouri River Imagery

Cruising through December here in downtown Craig Montana. Cold this mooring with daytime air temps approaching 32F. Freezing for the high temp today.

It is pretty.

A few Trout Spey Trips out today as Whitney, Beth, and  John are all on the water swinging the day away. Great fun. Quiet. Perfect.

Nymphing has been great. Soft, slow, winter water with PINK flies. Worms too, sows, scuds, LB’s.

No dry fly action. No surface bugs.

Water temps dipped hard last night which nighttime lows nearing Zero. Today the water temps are at 36F losing an entire point last night. Flows are in the mid 4K’s.

All good here in Craig. Shop with us for your Christmas giving this year. We’ll ship it today!

Enjoy your week ahead.[/vc_column_text]

    • Thanks Greg. Looking forward to June as well! While we don’t hate snow, we don’t love it either! Yeah gotta check this site at least once a week to not miss those half price opportunities!

  1. Hey Squeaky! I was up on the Mo today scouting for wading spots (most obvious) for when my son arrives for Christmas, And, yes, plenty of them, but once again, I want to suggest your eye in the frame is pretty extraordinary. Your daily frame, look, pix, of our (your) home water is extraordinary. I won’t comment on this talent of yours ever again, too tiresome, right?,but I say it’s exceptional. Merry Christmas!
