Two Great Fellas
Tony May and Sandy Bing.
Both of them have passed on. RIP fellas.
I have enjoyed fishing with a number of folks over the last 18 years. A bundle. But these two were the tops!
Tony, a very good angler, would defer to Mr. Bing most of the time. Light a cigar, tell some stories and watch Sandy work his magic.
No two finer fishing partners have ever existed. Two peas in a pod. Gentle, generous, along with a strong friendship allowed Sandy and Tony to work well together.
A real treat to spend the day with them.
We miss individuals like these two fellas. All we can do is pay the spirit forward and enjoy our friends. Live on!
Fish on!
Thanks for keeping the spirit alive Tony and Sandy!
Fishing buddies are the BEST buddies. No ‘if’s’, ‘ands’ or ‘buts’ about it.
Agreed, I have been fishing with the same two guys for fifty-eight years overall and about forty of those years on Montana trips.
Great post, Squeaky. Two of my all-time favorites as well that loved the dry fly game on the Mo. Sandy was like watching a blue heron stalk its prey & Tony was just flat-out good. Both totally unselfish & a pleasure to spend the day with in a boat.
Agreed Mitch. Those two were just great. A treat to have in the boat!
