Friday Foto Missouri River Night Vision
Fished last night from Mid C all the way to Prewitt Creek with the big fly.
Not too good out. A few ate the big purple chubby and a few ate the Water Walker. And a couple small ones ate the dropper fly we had attached for about an hour.
The scenery was just beautiful along with several eagles and beavers. Damn pretty. And hot. Temps when we put in were in the 90F+ range. Cooled to 80F upon take out.
The upper river is fishing a bit better in regards to the evening dry fly bite. Not as many weeds either. IF you want that techy dry fly evening bite try Dam or WC for the caddis. On any given night it can light up for you!
Enjoy your weekend at Headhunters Fly Shop in downtown Craig!
